Grown never far from stills with my great uncle distiller in fruit spirit in Alsace (France), I have an initial scientific education before going to audiovisual production and engineering. Working since 2004 as an independent head technician, executive producer and TV director, today I’m following my passion in spirit that I've been animated with since my first travel to the French West Indies in 2011.
Graduated from WSET in spirit to level 3 with distinction and after having followed a lot of training periods in Cognac to learn about oak aging, I’m now teaching spirit knowledge and degustation for sommeliers, distillers and sellers for 3 years. Moreover, I’m now a consultant for one distiller on Réunion Island and one independent bottler in France. This year, I was the head judge for the Diageo Indian Ocean Worldclass.
I leave my native town in Alsace in 2019 to move to Reunion Island where I have co-created the “Rhum Club 974” at my arrival and I've been the elected president for it since the beginning.
I love to taste all kinds of spirit, cocktails, always thinking about how to improve them, always with my independent vision, passion and knowledge of the French spirit market.
